The Magical Castle - Unravelling The Myth

One day, Peter and team decided to give a final try and search the deepest part of the sea. Sadie noticed that there was a large number of aquatic animals moving in and out of a particular place. On further inquiry, she saw a castle, yes it was the magical castle. She felt immense pleasure to see it. She also saw a whale there. She informed Peter about this. Peter and John came there with swords and harpoon, hidden with them. They sent Sadie back to the ship for her safety.

As they move forward, Octo uncle saw them and he at once spilled ink as a mark of danger to alert everyone there. Then, came the orca out of the ink to attack them. They moved back in three different directions. The orca chose John and started chasing him. John realised that he can't swim faster than a Whale. So, he aimed the harpoon towards Orca and shot it one after another. This made the orca even more aggressive. John realised that it is his last breath when the aggressive whale was mere 2 ft distance from him. But, then Peter came to his rescue and put his sword in the jaw of the whale. Then, John too put his sword out and pierce it into the giant Orca.

It was unprecedented. No one in the sea has ever tried to mess up with Orca. Everyone now has one question in their mind ‘who are those little creatures?’

Then, Octo and Turt came to rescue Orca. Octo once again spilled ink and Turt strike them with his massive weight and shell. Turt laid over Peter and John and disarmed them. The Orca was still ready to tear them apart and eat them. But, Octo uncle stopped him and first decided to know who they are. He called the mermaid to communicate with them.

*The mermaid is a beautiful creature in the deep sea with great communication skills*

She came forward and asked them their motive for coming in the sea.

John and Peter told them that they came here to see the magic castle. They also told them that all those treasure actually belongs to their species. Peter narrated the whole story of SATAN-301 ship to the mermaid, and mermaid to Octo.

Octo Uncle Share Some Gyaan

Octo to Peter: “I knew about this ship that it belongs to humans. But, it is now part of the sea.”
Peter: “How do you know about us”
Octo: “The Amphibians told me about you that how you are cruelly treating the land animals.”
[Peter looked completely shocked! The animals are watching us too!]
Octo: “Look, there is huge biodiversity inside sea with so many different species, living here together with peace. The ship that sank might have been, at some point in the past, belonged to humans, but now it is a part of Sea.

Peter said: “I am a sea lover and doing research on the sea life. The SATAN-301 was just a part of my research. Yes, humans are greedy. Just mere a speculation that there is a magical castle here with treasure, attracted many of us to come here and snatch the treasure from you. Therefore, I'm afraid that if humans know the whereabouts of this place. They will definitely come and recover the treasure even if they have to kill you all.”

Peter and John realized that the ship SHATAN-301 has now become an important part of the sea. Therefore, they decided to not even take a picture of the magical castle and SATAN-301. They went back to the ship narrated the whole story to Sadie and decided to simply let it go so that sea world could realize that humans are not as bad as they think about them.

★The End★

PS- Knowing aquatic life could be very boring, especially for a child which is why Colgate came up with an innovative approach to help kids to get acquainted with aquatic life with new ‘Colgate Strong Teeth Packs’. It can help a kid to get acquainted with the sea-world. It comes in four different packs with the promise of a new story with every pack. Colgate helped me too in this regard by sending me all those four packs with pictures and details of the sea world.

A child has a solid imagination. They can tell wonderful stories. They can bring characters that are impossible for an adult to even think. Now, they can unlock their imagination about the magical sea world.

Working on this, I realised that the sea world is very mythical. It has a wide number of magical creatures that are beyond our imagination. We don't have complete knowledge about it. And, also it is getting vanished at a tremendous pace. There are actually a lot of such creatures that have been disappeared before we could get any information about them. And, whatever left is endangered. The sea life must remain unaltered.

Nuclear Friction - Are We Moving Towards Nuclear Doomsday?

It was a moment of joy for the North Koreans when they heard the news that North Korea has successfully tested H-bomb on January 6th and thus “guaranteed the eternal future of the nation”. But it was also a shocking and despairing moment for others. Followed by the claim, came the condemnation from most other countries of the world including US, Japan, South Korea, and even China (supposed friend of N. Korea). But it was not unexpected that the North Koreans will do a further nuke test after the three previous ones in 2006, 2009 and 2013. But nobody on this earth, or even in space, thought that they would be able to do an H-bomb test. It was a second nuclear test only in four years during the rule of Kim Jong Un, the young head of the mafia family that controls North Korea is a sobering reminder of the progress that three generations of Kims have made in expanding their nuclear capability—despite outside efforts to curb it. Few think that North Korea has yet managed t...

The Indian Society And The Struggle Of Our Sports Fraternity

India, the world’s second-most populous nation, fails to show its dominance in sports. In fact, India's performance remains terrible except in few games. So, what's holding India back when it comes to competing in world sporting events like the Olympics? First, it's the conservative Indian mindset of the Indian society. You might be aware of the saying in India “ Padhoge likhoge banoge Nawab, kheloge kudoge banoge kharab ” which translates to “You can be a king if you study, can be spoilt if you play games.” Social life of a person who took the plunge of making a career in sports in India can be challenging and demotivating. An Indian parents or teachers, being part of the society, don't consider sports as a career. They have the biggest influence in a child's future ambitions. They may scold the child that “playing a sport will get you nowhere in life, but to make a life you need to be good in academics”. In other words, young Indians are discouraged from playing s...

Bihar Liquor Ban - The Political Perspective

Whether you call it Nitish Kumar's masterstroke for gaining publicity and support of people or a responsible chief minister batting for people's interests, on the face of it, it is great that Bihar is free from alcohol abuse. The Bihar excise (amendment) act, 2016 – a very old 1915 act has been converted into a very stringent law – is haunting the alcohol gang of Bihar. This law banned manufacturing, selling or consumption of liquors (strong or mild) and even prescribes the death penalty for the manufacturer, suppliers and sellers of hooch in case of death as a result of consumption of spurious liquors. Although Biharis can drink outside state boundary, they'll be punished if they create nuisance after returning home. The government had actually proposed to ban only 'desi' liquors. The sale of non-country or ‘Indian Made Foreign Liquor’ (IMFL) was allowed, although, with some caveats. However, within five days, the government extended the ban to IMFL as w...

Bihar Liquor Ban - Alcoholism and Society

Disclaimer : No alcohol has been used during the writing of this post. I don't know why I didn't cover this story earlier. Probably because on this topic, I didn't want to write in haste and as sayings go “better late than never”, I came up with this post. And while writing this article, sometimes I felt an alcoholic haze, that is why you should read this carefully! Let us begin with the definition of 'Alcoholism'. Casually, the process of consuming alcoholic drinks is called alcoholism. But, to be precise, alcoholism is a medical condition in which there is an abnormal addiction to alcohol, and taking it in small quantity very occasionally is not. Simply put, if you can live without alcohol, you are not an alcoholic. “Alcoholism is the effect of excessive intake of alcohol on the functions of the body and personality.” ~ W.C. Reckless “Alcoholism is a condition in which the individual has lost control over his alcohol intake in that he is constantl...

Why India Couldn't Compete The Developed World At Olympics?

India has, over the years, struggled to find medal-winning athletes for the Olympic Games. Let's take a look at the past performances of our players and team.  As an independent country, India won the first gold medal in 1948 in field hockey defeating Great Britain in the final. In the subsequent years, the expectation of medal was from our hockey team alone. After winning gold in 1980, the hockey team went downhill. Several times after 1980, Indian contingents have to come back empty-handed with a few exceptions in between. We have been helplessly standing close to the bottom in the league of third world countries.  India saw a watershed performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where Abhinav Bindra stunned everyone and became the first Indian to bag an individual Olympic gold along with wrestler Sushil Kumar and boxer Vijender Singh winning bronze medal. Only four years later, a large 83-member contingent from India took part in the London Olympics, while setting a new bench...

Protecting Daughters from Gender Discrimination and Dowry System

What is dowry? Casually, some of us find this as a traditional custom of bribing the groom and their family by bride's parents to get rid of their daughter. Or some of us may consider this as buying of groom by bride's parents through a bidding process. We as a part of Indian society are infamous for dowry and its related offences. When a daughter is born, most of the Indian families don't find that joy a son could have given them. Some of them get depressed after finding out the gender of newborn baby. Having a daughter is a burden to them, mostly, because of the social phenomena like dowry. We make noise and protest against corruption. But we never go through its roots and make substantive changes to uproot it. What is the reason for the corrupt officials to take such risks? The dowry is not the "only" but a good and considerable reason to hoard money through corrupt practices. No media has more reach to our society than Bollywood movies. In the plethora of...
