The Failure Of Clean India Campaign

We must applaud the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Step of massive Clean India Campaign which officially began from 2nd October 2014. Whenever he Speaks about cleaning India people all over India as well as people of Indian origin shouts Yes! "This is the man India was waiting for and needed for a long time, he will definitely change India".

But after listening to Mr Modi's mesmerising speech we forget everything and start doing the same thing that we are doing for a long time. For example, we spit anywhere, we throw garbage at the place where we found plenty of them, we urinate anywhere we find suitable and comfortable like on the wall, on the bushes.

One day I went to someone's house (typical Indian) wearing shoes One lady shouted: "How dare you to come into my house wearing shoes?" I was pretty shocked and I was feeling as if I have done a punishable offence!! Think for a while how much we do to clean our house. But we forget that this country is also our house, especially nearby surroundings.First, we need a "Swacchh Maansikta" and then we will have a "Swacchh Bharat".

Why we have reached here??We are in this situation due to lack of good governance, lack of infrastructure provided by the government, corruption at its worst and unwillingness of lawmakers to make a strict law which could restrict this and now we are used to this.

Unless,we understand our responsibility to this nation and simply not spreading garbage anywhere in the open in any form and the lawmakers just not rely on celebrities which make this campaign a photoshoot event and glitzy campaign on TVs and newspapers but to make strict law that can restrict the citizens from spreading garbage and also provide infrastructure such as toilets, etc. so that there is no need of urinating in the open, this Clean India Campaign will remain a precedent failure of Indians.

  2. Nice one!!
Lawmakers are sleeping and should make strict laws to stop this menace.
We should understand our responsibility and should not pollute our surroundings just for yourself.
But this mission has just began How can you say it's failed??

Forgiveness - Your Way Towards Peace

Forgiveness is a divine power, something that ordinary humans are not entitled to have. And, those who have this quality are more than 'a human'. One, who is free from materialistic desire and, most importantly, the ego, is blessed with such divine power. Whether it is of physical or mental strength, weak cannot forgive others. Forgiveness is always an attribute of strong people. It is a trait of a mature person having deep inner control over his mind. This strength cannot be bought, it has to be earned. But, how would you earn that? I think spirituality may be the answer. There are multiple benefits of forgiveness. It directly influences our thinking process. It sets you free from the negativity building around and boosts positive personality. It saves energy which can be redirected to do productive things. It is also the key to longevity and good health. But, how will you forgive someone who is not even sorry for their action? How will you respond to evil with kindn...

Nuclear Friction - Are We Moving Towards Nuclear Doomsday?

It was a moment of joy for the North Koreans when they heard the news that North Korea has successfully tested H-bomb on January 6th and thus “guaranteed the eternal future of the nation”. But it was also a shocking and despairing moment for others. Followed by the claim, came the condemnation from most other countries of the world including US, Japan, South Korea, and even China (supposed friend of N. Korea). But it was not unexpected that the North Koreans will do a further nuke test after the three previous ones in 2006, 2009 and 2013. But nobody on this earth, or even in space, thought that they would be able to do an H-bomb test. It was a second nuclear test only in four years during the rule of Kim Jong Un, the young head of the mafia family that controls North Korea is a sobering reminder of the progress that three generations of Kims have made in expanding their nuclear capability—despite outside efforts to curb it. Few think that North Korea has yet managed t...

The Indian Society And The Struggle Of Our Sports Fraternity

India, the world’s second-most populous nation, fails to show its dominance in sports. In fact, India's performance remains terrible except in few games. So, what's holding India back when it comes to competing in world sporting events like the Olympics? First, it's the conservative Indian mindset of the Indian society. You might be aware of the saying in India “ Padhoge likhoge banoge Nawab, kheloge kudoge banoge kharab ” which translates to “You can be a king if you study, can be spoilt if you play games.” Social life of a person who took the plunge of making a career in sports in India can be challenging and demotivating. An Indian parents or teachers, being part of the society, don't consider sports as a career. They have the biggest influence in a child's future ambitions. They may scold the child that “playing a sport will get you nowhere in life, but to make a life you need to be good in academics”. In other words, young Indians are discouraged from playing s...

Gangubai - The Oldest but Youngest Sarpanch of Pune

Gangubai Nivrutte Bhambure gets up at 5 am to do household chores. She is a 94-year-young sarpanch of Bhamburwadi village and holds the distinction of becoming oldest sarpanch in Pune district. Gangubai believes in hard work. She says it's time to work for the people, her people, otherwise it's of no use of her becoming a  sarpanch . She says she will not disappoint them who trusted and endowed her with the chair of the  sarpanch . The first task would be to help farmers from seven villages who own 1000 hectares of land, but due to lack of water, they can't grow anything on it. According to Gangubai's grandsons, there is a canal less than 2km from these farms but they don't get a drop of water. The government had failed the people. Gangubai is keen to take PM's help in this matter and she is very optimistic that PM will respond to her request. She says that PM Narendra Modi is like her son and he will definitely help her and the farmers. Her other priorit...

Education Emergency — Why Schools Should Open Its Doors

One sector which is silently hit by the Covid-19 pandemic the most is the education. As a precautionary measure, schools were the first to be shut even before a formal announcement of lockdown. After all, education doesn't come under the umbrella of essential services.  According to the data from UNICEF, schools for more than 168 million children globally have been completely closed for almost an entire year, and more than 888 million children worldwide continue to face disruptions to their education due to full and partial school closures.  In India, only one in four children have access to digital devices and internet connectivity. There is a large rural-urban and gender divide which is why not everyone is able to benefit the digital revolution. Such vulnerable children unable to access remote learning might never be able to get back to learning even after the pandemic fades away, and could be easily exploited as child labor.  Shifting Classes Online   To those who...

Fifty Six Inches Chest Magic

The recent Manipur ambush resulted in the cold-blooded murder of 20 Indian Army personnel, boiled the blood of Nation. This certainly made PM Narendra Modi quite angry but despite that, he carried out his visit to Bangladesh. Involving in Diplomacy at that time must be very difficult for him. But he did that with ease and also used that platform to remind Pakistan the history that how they have treated Bangladesh in the past and how India despite defeating them had not occupied the land but let it be a new state known as Bangladesh today. I leave the Bangladesh part for another day. The cross-border operation by the Indian Army to finish off the terrorists, who killed our soldiers for no reason, is quite rare. MoD (Ministry of Defence) and MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) along with Myanmar government cooperated in this operation. The operation was a must to show the strength of Indian Army and set up an example that if anyone dares to touch our Men will face similar consequences...
